On High & Mighty Paul Riekert (of Battery9 fame) takes it easy and slows down the tempo a lot — most tracks clock in at under 120 bpm and are on the surface almosty gentle and inviting. There are distinct dub and breakbeat influences, with an effortless blend of programmed electronics and live intruments. Most tracks are collaborative efforts — Cesare Cassarino, Brendan Jury, Anton L’amour, Huyser Burger, Jonathan Neaves and Arnaud Van Vliet join forces with Paul to create something unique, while retaining the trademark twisted humour and dark undertones.
