Gris is Battery9’s third release and consists mostly of different takes and remixes of existing Battery9 material, apart from a blistering version of Afrikaans maestro songsmith Koos Du Plessis’s Koue Vuur.Gris contains an install application that allows you to listen to all eight tracks by manipulating a control desk. There are two slide shows and a video of a Battery9 live performance. You can also read some dodgy info about the live band members at that time. A Gris screen saver is also included, as well as a set of authentic Battery9 samples that could be used to create a new track.
