One F Music
One F Music is an independent company based in Johannesburg, South Africa, that specializes in the production of left-of-centre music.
The company was founded by Paul Riekert in 1994 to create an infrastructure for the production and release of his own projects. A digital recording studio was set up immediately. This is still the heart of the company, and over the years the studio grew to being an audio composition-, recording- and mastering facility where musical ideas can be taken from conception to completion.
In 2004 Paul decided to set One F Music up as a fully-fledged independent label, as domestic left-of-centre music was getting a raw deal.
So if your music is seen as too weird, too heavy, too loud or too intellectually stimulating for radio play (or the general public out there), we're probably interested in it. For us it is more important to document something, than to analyse the market to see if it would be popular among the general public and make fistfuls of cash.
